Crazy 5.17.11

I don't know where to start. Last few weeks have been crazy. First after Bin Laden was killed I was initially very happy about it. I do believe, obviously, he deserves justice for what he did, but I rethought exactly what we did. Ron Paul made a great point about this on a radio show last week. The media is all up in arms about what he said without really listening to it. It strikes me as somewhat odd that we have captured all of the other terrorists yet we had to kill Bin Laden. I am not saying he is innocent or anything like that, but I do think we have to be consistent with our legal system. The evidence should be presented in a court of law. In this country you are innocent until proven guilty. 9/11 or any other excuse DOES NOT CHANGE THIS. I believe that several of the terrorists who planned 9/11 should be tried in civilian court. Another thing that is bothering me is that people seem to be giving Obama a free pass when they did not give one to Bush. If you look at his record: 1. We are not out of Iraq 2. He tripled the troops in Afghanistan 3. He increased predator drone attacks in Afghanistan 4. He has not closed the prison facility at Guantanamo Bay Cuba 5. We do not know for sure if he has ended illegal torture practices or as Dick Cheney likes to call it"enhanced interrogation" in other words we can't call it torture. The people need to start seeing through the BS of the establishment. The media never properly questioned the Iraq War and they continue to give a pass for Obama on almost everything. Obama is fundamentally a tool of the elite establishment. He is nowhere close to the figure he ran on in 2008. He is a supporter of big government in every way. He has increased militarism and wants to expand the government in almost every area. He is definitely not a man of the people. If anything he is more closely aligned with the special interests than any president in history. He gave Wall Street everything they wanted in order to "save the economy". This really means he stole taxpayer dollars and gave it to rich CEOS and billionaires. Isn't that "socialism". I guess the corporate elite love socialism when they are bankrupt. Smoke and Mirrors 101. Tired of this stuff
